1850 N-18 R4 NGC graded MS66 Brown. Frosty golden light brown and tan on the obverse; medium steel brown on the reverse. The obverse was lightly cleaned but the reverse looks pristine. Sharply struck with full radial lines in all the stars. The only marks are a tiny planchet chip in the field off the chin and traces of an old fingerprint on the neck into the field over star 1. MDS, die state b. The lines at the dentils over star 7 are gone. Our grade is AU58+, tied for CC#7 in the Grellman census. The attribution and COL Ellsworth Collection provenance are noted on the NGC label. NGC population 1, none finer in BN at either service. Estimated Value $400 - UP
