Sicily, Syracuse, c. 415-405 BC. AR Tetradrachm (16.83 g). Galloping quadriga left driven by female charioteer; above, Nike flying right; in exergue, two dolphins. Reverse: Head left of Arethusa; around, dolphins swimming. Cf. Tudeer pl. 1, 1 and 2; cf. Jenkins (Coins of Greek Sicily) 34. Particularly fine die work, well centered on a large flan. Choice Very Fine.

Although unsigned, it is quite possible that these dies were engraved by the artists Eumenes and/or Sosion.
