Hispania. Bascunes (Pamplona), c. 150-100 BC. AR Denarius (4.26 g). Bearded male head right. Reverse: Horseman right, holding short spear. Heiss pl. 20, 2; Dewing 10; SNG München 11-13. Rare. Obverse striking crack and indentation at 11 o'clock (small piece of metal remaining on die at the time of striking?). Lightly toned. Virtually Mint State.
