White, Andrew "Andy" The 5th Beatle, Notation and Signed Oversized Photo (1930-2015) a supremely accomplished session musician was affectionately christened "The 5th Beatle" as he is best known for replacing Ringo Starr on drums on the Beatles' first single, "Love Me Do" White was featured on the American 7" single release of the song, which also appeared on the band's debut British album, Please Please Me. He also played on "P.S. I Love You", which was the B-side of "Love Me Do" White also played and recorded with numerous other artists including Chuck Berry, Billy Fury, Herman's Hermits and Tom Jones.

Offered is a beautiful 11 x 14" restrike, black and white photo of White at the drums. Along the the bottom margin he has written "I was called to Abbey Road Studios on 9-11-63 to do some drum tracks with The Beatles. We recorded "Love Me Do", "P.S. I Love You" and "Please Please Me". My version of "Love Me Do" (The Beatles first single) was released in the U.S. Andy White" Mint. Estimated Value $250 - 400
