Very Fine Louwelsa Matt Ewer. Before 1904. Height: 12-½". This lithe vessel with fluted spout is decorated with delicate peach blossoms set atop nearly undulating, pale green stems. The initial F of artist Frank Ferrell appears to the right of the design. The Weller Louwelsa half-circle seal is impressed to the base, along with the number 55. With only some soiling to the surface, this piece is nearly fine.
