Louwelsa Ewer. Height: 6". Full-bodied, right-handed ewer with fluted spout and stylized handle, ornamented with golden cherries and green leaves. The artist's initials appear at the lower right of the design, perhaps the HP of Hester Pillsbury. The Louwelsa Weller half-circle seal is impressed to the base, along with the numbers 5 and 11. With some surface scratching and a single chip (¼") to the spout; very good to fine.
