Lot 232

1850 N-4 R1 PCGS graded AU58. Frosty medium brown and light chocolate. Looks mint state but there is a touch of wear on the highest points of the devices. The only mark is a spot of darker olive brown toning below star 8. M-LDS, die state b late. The earlier die lines from the dentils at star 13 are weak but some are still visible. Our grade is AU50. The attribution and COL Ellsworth Collection provenance are noted on the PCGS label. PCGS population 1; 5 finer: 1 in 62, 1 in 64, 3 in 65. Estimated Value $175 - UP
