Two (2) Impressive, Large, Ancient Luristan Spears/ Lances ca. 1000 B.C. A superb pair of ancient Luristan bronze spears ancient Near East, northwestern Iran, Luristan, ca. 1000 to 600 BCE. Impressive cast-bronze spear heads displaying long slender blades with a high central ridge the short squarish tangs taper to a flattened point at their base. Blades are 17" and 13.75" tapering to the tips (which are rounded from age/use). Condition: excellent relic condition with only very slight mounting residues on the versos when publicly displayed.
