1850 N-1 R2+ PCGS graded XF40. Slightly glossy dark olive brown and steel with lighter steel brown toning on the highpoints. Looks smooth to the unaided eye but a glass reveals uniform microscopic porosity that covers the planchet. No notable marks or verdigris, but there is some dirt in protected areas. MDS, die state b. Our grade is net VF25. The attribution and COL Ellsworth Collection provenance are noted on the PCGS label. PCGS population 1; 6 finer: 2 in 62, 1 in 63, 2 in 64, 1 in 65. Estimated Value $40 - UP
