Artists of NASA: 14 Signed Images by Paul Calle, Star City, USSR, Two Covers by Robert McCall. 1928-2010) Paul Calle produced a series of sketches while at Star City, USSR during the Apollo-Soyuz joint venture. These 14 photos of Calle's sketches were released for publication on December 15, 1974. with the usual press information on verso printed in pale blue on all of them on the verso. Calle's signature was obviously on all the originals, but Calle has countersigned each of these photos, so all have his original signature. Included are also two covers signed by Calle, both featuring his 1st Man on the Moon stamp. Plus there are two covers signed by Robert McCall, the equally celebrated NASA artist also known for his art for the film 2001: a space odyssey. One is quite fine with COA by Zarelli. Bonus: a small original oil on canvas board by an artist known for his Aerospace miniatures measuring 2 x 3" of an Apollo rocket after launch. Estimated Value $200 - 500
