U.S. Naval Officer's Sword Manufactured by Fred Fisch, Early 20th Century. U.S.Naval officer's Model 1872 sword (1901 - 1925) with ornate brass guard, engraved blade with manufacturer, "Fred Fisch Vallejo, Cal." Sword exhibits age and heavy use, gilt wire wrap around handle amost gone and the scabbard in only fair condition with chape evidently not the original. But blade is in nice condition 30" in length engraved at center "USN" with the presence of a "dolphin's" head on the quillon and finial at the tip of the upper guard. An easy restoration.
