1846-D, D over D. PCGS graded XF Details, Cleaning. Light golden toning. Only 80,294 struck for the date, with merely about 125 D/D examples estimated to have survived according to PCGS CoinFacts. The D mintmark was punched in way too high before being corrected. A scarce issue in all grades, and this one is certainly desirable despite the minor cleaning (PCGS # 8229) .
