Cole Bros. World's Greatest Circus. [c. 1920s], 28 x 20½ in. Lithograph. Erie Litho & Ptg. Co., Erie, PA. Featuring a menagerie of animals being viewed in their cages and pens by spectators prior to the start of the show. Circus-goers were often given an hour before the show to view the animals. Small portraits of the Cole Bros. are inset at upper left. Condition: A-; two tears, one at left edge and one at lower edge, barely reach into the background; also, a couple of small fold tears, and a few small edge tears and chips. A great circus image.
