Cole Bros. Circus. [said to be 1947], 28 x 21 in. Photo offset. Featuring "'Lucio Cristiani - World's Famous Riding Comedian." Condition: A-. Paper remnants at lower edge from date tag removal, else bright and colorful. The Cristianis were a famous family of bareback performers. Lucio was advertised as being the only person who could somersault from one horse to another, but this was circus hype and not true--Poodles Hanneford had done this and more years earlier.
