Lot 200

1849 N-3 R4 PCGS graded MS62 Brown, CAC Approved. Frosty medium brown with luster in the fields and protected areas. There is just a hint of friction on the highpoints but a rather strong diagonal nick left of the earlobe catches your eye. The only other significant defect is a small patch of fine carbon in the leaves under TA in STATES. E-MDS, die state f early. There is crumbling on the bottom of the D in UNITED but the other crumbles associated with die state f are not present (Brunhofer state f-1). Our grade is net EF45+. The attribution and COL Ellsworth Collection provenance are noted on the PCGS label. PCGS population 2; 4 finer: 1 in 63, 1 in 64, 2 in 65. Estimated Value $300 - UP
