1803 S-264 R4+ Large Date with Small Fraction Fair-2. A bit sharper, particularly on the reverse, but there are traces of shallow corrosion on the reverse. Recolored glossy light to medium chocolate brown. The date is not strong but it is complete and easily readable, the numerator of the fraction is clear, and about half of the legend and devices on the reverse remain visible. LDS, Breen state III, with strong die cracks on the reverse and a raised retained cud break that obliterates STA. Far from perfect but still an easily attributable example of the famous Large Date with Small Fraction variety.
