Three Thomas Elder Columbian Exposition Related Medals. Eglit-64 and 65. Struck in 1907, these three Thomas Elder medals use dies that were previously used to produce nummerous medals for the Columbian Expositon such as Eglit 63, the Santa Maria Medal. Eglit-64, gilt, 31mm, uses the Eglit-63 Columbus bust die with Elder's ANA Triennial Convention die that was issued in 1907. Eglit-65, both in gilt and copper, shares the Eglit-63 Santa Maria die with Elder's Jamestown Ter-Centennial medal die. As such, Eglit saw fit to include these medal in his reference.
