World War II Generals: Arnold, Bradley, Clark, MacArthur, Wainwright. Henry "Hap" Arnold: Inscribed photo signed, "To Col. Carl H. McClure In appreciation of the splendid work that you have done for the Air Force and for the Aid Society. H H Arnold Commdg. G.A.F.", 14 x 11", no place, no date. smiling, chest-up portrait, in a thin, wood frame. Omar N. Bradley: two signatures, one on a 1943 cover celebrating the unconditional surrender of Italy, and one on a 2¼ x 5" piece of paper with a military pennant bearing four stars and "Joint Chiefs of Staff 1952". Mark W. Clark Envelope free franked at lower left, as commander of U.S. Forces in Austria (where he served from the end of WWII until Jan. 1947); Douglas MacArthur signed First Day Cover bearing the three stamps issued on Feb. 3, 1948 by the Philippines to honor MacArthur. Mounted with two commemorative coins and a stamp; dampstain affects signature. Jonathan Wainwright signed cover of the Sept. 1945 issue of The Presidio Sun; the chest-up image is signed "J M Wainwright General USA." Overall very good. Estimate Value $400 - 600
