Rare Original WWII German Portable Shoulder Air Raid Siren in Perfect Working Condition. A rare artifact from WWII comes this portable, German air raid siren in working condition Made of bakelite and aluminum by Kenn-Nummer mocel RL 4-38/59, Vertrieb gem. § 8 Luftschutzges. genehmigt. Strap is a contemporary replacement but siren itself complete. When retractable cord is pulled, the siren blast is surprisingly loud and exactly the tone one hears in film and television when recreating the time. No cracks to the bakelite, original red painted finish has the usual scratches and paint loss one would expect from use. 6" in diameter and just at 3" in thickness. Fine. Estimate $600 - 800
