1880-CC Morgan Dollar. 80 over 79, second reverse. MS-60+. This one is mounted in the familiar black government holder and comes complete with the Nixon quote, Carson City blurb and even a paragraph about the overdate, which in discussing the overdate states: "As such die varieties may enhance the value of the coin, we suggest that you examine the coin carefully, or perhaps have the coin inspected by a competent numismatist." We like that part, "competent numismatist". The coin is bright and untoned. Breen-5551, VAM-4.
