1828 N-8 R3 PCGS graded AU55, CAC Approved. Glossy tan and light brown with slightly darker steel brown toning on the highpoints. Mint frost shows in the protected areas and this cent has very nice eye appeal. The only marks are a few light ticks in the field before the portrait, a few more on the jawline, and a tiny splash of darker chocolate toning at the left point of star 5. The reverse is choice. E-MDS with a fine die crack through the top of TED. Our grade is VF35. The attribution is noted on the PCGS label. PCGS population 2; 3 finer: 1 in 62, 2 in 63. Only 6 graded of the variety at PCGS. PCGS #36895. Estimated Value $300 - UP
