Beautiful, Ancient Lapis Lazuli and Round High Karat Gold Bead Necklace, Newly Strung, from the 1st Millennium. Fantastic ancient round, disc and tubular lapis beads still maintaining their luster newly strung with a contemporary eye. Eight (8) medium high karat gold beads and two accent beads flank the remarkable, large, twisted bead at center. Necklace was extended to 20" with the addition of a series of 10 tiny (modern) glass beads, one inch in length, immediately before each clasp. S clasp and eyelet are modern and are gold-washed sterling silver. Absolutely safe to wear and a gorgeous piece of ancient work. Estimated Value $1,500 - 2,000
