1929, $20 National Bank Note. The Millers River NB, Athol, MA. Ch. #708. PCGS Very Fine 25 Apparent. Fr-1802-1. KL-1317. Despite a small edge tear at the top right of this note, which PCGS has mentioned on the holder as the reason for the apparent grade, this $20 is quite pleasing overall. Only about two dozen small size examples are known on this bank, and this new-to-the-census piece represents one of just four known $20s.
