1848 N-32 R5 PCGS graded VF35, CAC Approved. Glossy medium brown and light chocolate. Smooth and attractive with only trivial contact marks. A small pinprick midway between the top of the 1 and star 1 can help identify this cent. MDS. The die crack on the reverse is clear and a few of the early die lines in the obverse fields are still visible. Our grade is VF20+, CC#6 in the Grellman census. The attribution and COL Ellsworth Collection provenance are noted on the PCGS label. PCGS population 1; 5 finer: 2 in 40, 2 in 55, 1 in 58. Estimated Value $500 - UP
