1875, $2 United States Note. PCGS Very Choice New 64. Fr-44. . KL-104. This beautiful Deuce is blessed with great colors, terrific original paper quality, and margins that, although not even, are above average for the type. It lacks the "PPQ" designation only because of a single, well hidden pinhole near the bottom center of the design. This is a slightly scarcer Fr. number, particularly in high grades, as PCGS Currency has graded just two pieces in this grade with only three examples (all 65Ppqs) finer. Only about 80 examples are known in all grades combined.
