Large Roman Bronze Oil Lamp Circa 1st Century B.C. - 1st Century A.D. Horse head with braided mane handle, gracefully positioned over filling holes. Hard marbel-like mottled sea-green patina. Intact and gree from repairs. We note some scrapes and marks ont he base, probably from testing the patina. A museum quality Roman bronze oil lamp. 8" in length, 4" in height.
