1922. No D. Strong reverse. NGC graded AU-58 Brown. A popular red book variety. Nice strikes with the obverse showing good definition on Lincoln and no trace of the "D" mintmark at all. The reverse has full wheat ears and is bold throughout. Impressive quality for this sought-after mint blunder where the "D" mintmark literally wore off the obverse die. Nice surfaces too, which is everything an advanced specialist could hope to find in this prized rarity. Estimated Value $4,000 - UP
