Attica, Athens, c. 430 BC. AR Tetradrachm (17.1 g). Head right of Athena, wearing crested helmet ornamented with three olive leaves and palmette decoration. Reverse: Owl standing right, head facing, sprig of olive and crescent behind; to right, ethnic; all within incuse square. Dewing 1622; Sv. plate 15, 44. small counterstamp in right reverse field. Very Fine.
