1846 Liberty Seated Half Dollar. 6 over horizontal 6. NGC graded MS-62. A well struck specimen exhibiting full star definition as well as complete hair detail on Liberty. Some light contact marks are scattered about the unprotected surfaces and some light toning exists about the peripheries on both sides. A rare coin that is nearly impossible to locate in mint state grades. NGC reports a total of just 8 examples in Mint State and some of those may be duplications. Expect plenty of competition from half dollar specialists on this one.
