1836 Capped Bust Half Dollar. Reeded edge. NGC graded MS-63. A trifle softly struck as is usual for this scarce low mintage date. The surfaces exhibit subdue mint luster overlaid with natural violet deepening at the borders to iridescent blue. A mere 1200 were struck and only a handful of mint state examples are extant.
