(1792-5) Washington Success Token, Small Size with Plain Edge Breen-1290 EF40. Struck in brass, then silvered. Glossy golden tan and brown with generous traces of frosty silver gray in protected areas. The only marks are a tiny planchet fissure from the rim to the back of the head, as struck, and a tiny rim nick at the T in WASHINGTON. Well centered on the planchet and nicely struck except for the usual weakness in the center of the reverse. An attractive example of this Washington issue. Listed on page 84 in the "Redbook." Weight 29.8 grains.
Estimated Value $300-UP.
Ex Tom Rinaldo.
