1797 Draped Bust Dollar. 10 stars left, 6 right. . BB-71. Sharpness of EF-40. Cleaned. A charcoal and silvery example retoned long ago after an improper cleaning. While moderate hairlines are still observable, the overall eye appeal of this coin is excellent. While it might not "grade" at PCGS or NGC, the sharpness and abrasion-free quality of this piece are definitely to be desired by those who would like an example of this scarcer die marriage. Perfectly centered with no planchet problems or random scratches that would lead to an impaired look.
