1652 Pine Tree Sixpence. . Noe-33 Rarity-3. PCGS graded EF-45. Variety with pellets before the tree trunk. Choice glossy medium silvery steel gray, the highpoints a shade or two lighter than the protected areas. The planchet is a bit wavy but there are no contact marks or planchet flaws. The obverse is off center to the upper left, as usual, while the reverse is better centered on the planchet, just very slightly off to the lower right. Excellent eye appeal. An attractive example of this scarce denomination. Weight not shown on the PCGS label. PCGS population 5 at this grade, 16 finer.
