Lot 1468

1905. PCGS graded Proof 67. Delicate lilac turning to electric blue at the obverse borders and a uniform blending of these hues on the reverse. Only 727 Proofs struck. Virtually perfect fields spread their mirror-like glitter in every direction. Our observation of the luster ends but we could write dozens more words and not exhaust ourselves. But pertaining to the devices, this coin was struck, as with others of its year and Type, with methodical precision throughout. Every device is razor-sharp. Pop 10; 1 in 68 (PCGS # 6552) .
Estimated Value $4,800 - 5,000.
