Goldberg Coins and Collectibles

Sale 100

Lot 1445

1924-S. NGC graded MS-64. A hint of gold tone with soft satin luster on both sides and pleasing surfaces. The date is sharp and the tiny S mintmark is clear and sits atop the ray just above the date. This is a scarce issue with most of the known coins being saved by happenstance. Here is an appealing example for the date and mint collector. Pop 116; 23 finer, 1 in 64+, 20 in 65, 1 in 65+, 1 in 66. (PCGS # 9179) Estimate Value $9,000 - 10,000

Realized $12,338
