Parthian Kingdom. Mithradates II, 123-88 BC. AR Tetradrachm (15.9 g), Seleucia mint. Draped and diademed bust of Mithradates left, wearing torque, and with beard of medium length. Reverse: Archer seated right, within square formed by legend. Sell. 24.1. Well centered, of handsome style and the portrait bold. Slight gray to russet toning. Coin appears to be an overstrike. An admirable specimen. Choice Extremely Fine.
