Goldberg Coins and Collectibles

Sale 109

Lot 1421

PCGS graded Proof 64. A nice untoned proof coin. This coin was struck with the all mirror style with less frost on the devices, but certainly still quite appealing. The Mint was experimenting at this time, and by 1908 gold proof issues employed the much less shiny matte proof format once the Indian style came out. Heree, the overall surfaces of this 1906 quarter eagle are bright and fresh. Only 160 struck. Pop 25; 70 finer at PCGS. (PCGS # 7932) Estimate Value $6,000 - 6,500

Unsold
