1848-C. NGC graded MS-62. Rich golden toning. Semi reflective obverse fields and with a much better than commonly seen strike. This date is notorious for poor strikes and precious few have any claim to mint condition. This one certainly does, with excellent surfaces, strike and luster. Tied with a small group as one of the finest seen of this issue, and a prize for the astute numismatist. Destined for an advanced Charlotte gold collection. Only 16,788 struck.
