Cagney, James (1899-1987) First Day of Issue page Signed "Jim Cagney", postmarked Beverly Hills, CA, May 27, 1975, with a D.W. Griffith 10¢ stamp, 11 x 8½ in. These rare pages were made up specially by Sy Kessler to commemorate D.W. Griffith's The Birth Of A Nation. Accompanied by a 12 x 8¾ in. photograph (trimmed) of Cagney and Priscilla Lane in The Roaring Twenties by Warner Bros. photographer Mack Elliott; verso has newspaper markings and a copy of the picture from the Oct. 13, 1939 Evening News.
