Macedonian Kingdom. Alexander III, the Great, 336-323 BC. AR Tetradrachm. Decent dealer material. Uranopolis a scarcer mint. Uranopolis mint, struck c. 300-290 BC. Head of Herakles right, wearing lionskin headdress. Reverse: Zeus enthroned left, holding eagle and scepter; at left, X below, wreath underneath chair. Price 509. Along with another Teradrachm, of late style, from Mesembria, 175-125 BC.; reverse with helmet and MA in left field, monogram below throne: Price 1082. Lastly, an AE from Macedonia: Head of Herakles right, wearing lion's skin / Club, quiver and bow. Price 277. Silver coins lightly toned. Lot of 3 coins. All Very Fine.
