Two Men of the Year. Harry S Truman and George C. Marshall shaped the post-war world and each was named Man of the Year -- Marshall in 1948 and Truman in 1949.
Signatures. Lot of two signed Time Magazine Man of the Year covers. 1. Marshall, George C (1880-1959) ("G.C. Marshall"). Signed in black ink. There is some light foxing throughout and two faint horizontal creases. The cover has been matted for an overall size of 11 x 14" and is in good condition. 2.Truman, Harry S (1884-1972) ("Harry S Truman"). Inscribed "Kind regards to Richard E. Strelecky 9/21/63" in blue ink. There is a very small area of paperclip rust at the bottom that does not interfere with the portrait or signature. There are a few very small creases visible at the edges of the cover and it has been matted to 11 x 14." This cover is in very good condition.
