1793 Flowing Hair Cent. Chain reverse, "AMERICA" in legend. Sharpness of Fine-15 but a bit rough and some surface marks. This one has nice details, but the surfaces show some marks including some pits before Liberty's neck and one just above her truncation in the field. There are some bumps along the rim, a few of which have been smoothed out, notably above TED and ST, and we note roughness throughout on the planchet. This one is dark brown to olive in color, and has some mottling in the color. While not the finest available, this is far from the worst seen, as many are in lower grade and have more challenging surfaces.
