Phoenicia, Sidon. Baalshallim II. Silver Dishekel (27.95 g), ca. 401-366 BC. Phoenician galley sailing left above waves; above, bet. Reverse: Persian king and driver in chariot left; behind, king of Sidon, in Egyptian style garments, holding scepter and vase, walking left. Rouvier 1096; Betlyon 18; HGC 10, 236. Unusually well centered on both sides. Untoned. Very Fine. Estimate Value $500 - 600
