1870 Pattern Dime. Aluminum, reeded edge. Judd-847. Pollock-947. High Rarity 7. PCGS graded Proof 64. A film of light tone is just starting to form. The obverse has the small head of Liberty from the STANDARD design with a raised ribbon below with the Motto inscribed. For the reverse there is a large 10 at the center, with CENTS below in an arc, surrounded by an open wreath of agricultural crops. The date is below CENTS. Pop 3; 3 finer, 1 in 64 Cameo, 1 in 65, 1 in 66 Cameo. (PCGS # 61091) Estimate Value $3,000 - 3,500
