Bare-headed bust of Ottavio, cuirassed and draped facing left, below signature I.F.B., leg: OCTAVIVS.F.PARM.ET.PLAC.DVX.II. Reverse; Apollo, laureate and with cloak over his shoulders, standing left, holding lyre with his left hand and raising his right towards Marsyas, kneeling left, bound to a tree trunk, leg: CVM.DIIS.NON.CONTENDENDVM, 31 mm, 22.2g, early cast by Gianfederico Bonzagna (Attwood 956). Sharp early, if not contemporary cast. Rare. In NGC holder graded Unc Details (Environmental Damage). Estimated Value $600 - UP
