Large 8½ x 3½", pink imprinted check, with Getty's name and address printed above, drawn on Security First National Bank of Los Angeles, Santa Monica, California, July 24, 1946, to Jack Irvine, in the amount of " two dollars and ninety-eight cents." Punch canceling on verso, stamps on recto, neither of which affect the signature at bottom right, which is boldly written in blue ink.
