Extremely Rare and Tiny Egyptian Mosaic Glass Inlay of an Erotic Nature, 4th -3rd Century B.C. Tiny Egyptian glass inlay likely inset into a bead or pendant. In spite of its size (6 x 6mm!) this miniature treasure has all of the detail of a piece much larger. A woman, nude, resting on her elbows, the perspective being full frontal. OTOH, it could be considered maternal, and the woman is simply in the birthing position.
Which ever perspective, what is undeniable is the excruciating work on such a small inlay, even more mind numbing, given this is centuries old. Estimated Value $750 - 1,200
