Two Ancient Roman/Egyptian Glass Beads with Nilotic Birds ca 3rd to 2nd Century B.C. Two glass beads both having the colorful Nilotic bird featured, highly prized by collectors. One rectangular, white bodied Nilotic on black, recto verso, with colorful heads is particularly fine, 10 x 6mm. The round bead has 5 birds surrounding the bead along the circular band, 15 x 15mm, again in fine detail. Rarely offered, these two treasures are in choice condition and a must for every level of collector. Estimated Value $1,000 - 1,500
