Seleukid Kingdom. Seleukos I Nikator. Silver Drachm (3.61 g), 312-281 BC. Uncertain mint, perhaps Persepolis, ca. 305/4-295 BC. Head of hero (Alexander or Seleukos?) right, wearing helmet covered with panther's skin and adorned with ear and horns of a bull. Reverse: BAΣIΛEΩΣ ΣEΛEYKOY, Nike standing right, crowning trophy with wreath; below left and in field between Nike and trophy, Aramic inscription. Cf.
