'Shekel of Israel' (Paleo-Hebrew), ritual chalice with pearled rim, the base raised by projections on both ends; above, 'year 2'. Rev. 'Jerusalem the holy' (Paleo-Hebrew), staff with three pomegranate buds, round base. Hendin 1358; TJC 193. Deutsch die 31. Boldly struck and nicely centered. We note some fine die scratches, many as made. Toned. (this coin should improve if properly cleaned). Very Fine. Estimate Value $3,000 - UP
